Our recipes meet or exceed standards set by AAFCO’s Dog Food Nutrient Profiles for all life stages of your pet.
Absolutely! We recommend storing your furry friends food in the freezer, they will last up to 3 weeks unopened. Before feeding, you can move them to your refrigerator to thaw overnight. Once thawed and opened store in the fridge for up to 3 days
Making the switch for most dogs means gradually transitioning to new food so their stomach doesn’t get upset which takes up to 10 days. Each step lasts about two days:
►Days 1-3, serve 25% of the whole portion size of the new food mixed with 75% old food
►Days 4-6, serve 50% of the new food mixed with 50% of the old food
►Days 7-10, serve 75% of the new food mixed with 25% of the old food
►Day 11+, serve 100% of the new food
We make all of our food in human-grade facilities with natural ingredients. After our food is made, we test every single batch to make sure it’s safe for your pup. Then, we vacuum-seal our food packs to preserve the nutritional value and prevent spoilage in transit.
We are not able to accept returns since our fresh meals are perishable. But if you don’t see the benefits of a fresh diet within 30 days of receiving your first order, please contact us by email within 30 days of receiving the order to request a full refund of your first order or explore other options to help.
Yes, the trouble is that very few of the recipes available to pet owners are nutritionally complete. Research shows 95 percent of the recipes are deficient in some way and about 83 percent had multiple deficiencies. Serious complications from nutrient deficiencies or more commonly, overdosing could arise if a recipe is lacking a balanced diet.
